Avocado - This nutritional powerhouse is packed with healthy fats, vitamins, and minerals. Avocados are an excellent source of monounsaturated fatty acids, which can help lower bad cholesterol levels and improve heart health. Additionally, avocados are rich in fiber, potassium, and vitamins C, E, and K.   

Cacao - The raw form of chocolate, is a superfood rich in antioxidants, particularly flavonoids. These compounds have been linked to various health benefits, including improved heart health, reduced inflammation, and enhanced mood. Cacao is also a good source of fiber, iron, and magnesium.

Ingredients (serves 1)


  • 1/4 of an avocado

  • 1 banana

  • ½ cup coconut milk

  • 1 teaspoon raw cacao powder

  • 1 pitted Medjool date

  • Optional: Raw honey or maple syrup to taste



Instructions


  1. Blend - Combine all ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth and creamy.

  2. Pour and Top - Pour the smoothie into a bowl and top with a sprinkle of Nurish Granola for a crunchy and flavourful finish.
